Our Policies
Safety Policy
It’s hard to believe that 90% of workplace injuries are due to human error. But it’s true. Simply rushing through a task or not paying attention to the job at hand can lead to injury. So ProBuild works hard to remind our employees and customers that no job is so urgent that we can’t do it safely.
We train our employees in safe work habits. We work hard to ensure a safe environment. Each location is expected to eliminate known hazards, maintain a drug-free workplace and develop safety rules that safeguard our employees’ well being.
In return, employees must abide by all safety rules, remain drug free, notify their supervisor of any unsafe conditions, and stay focused on their task and their surroundings at all times. ProBuild wants every employee to go home at night healthy and happy.
Code of Conduct
At ProBuild we are proud of our reputation for honesty and fairness in all business matters. We have an obligation to maintain this reputation in relationships with other employees, customers, suppliers, competitors, business contacts and our community. To accomplish our mission, we endeavor to conduct business by adhering to the values outlined in our Code of Conduct.
Environmental Policy
ProBuild is committed to doing business with an awareness of our local and global environments and how we can protect them through planning and action.
Our Guiding Principles
• Educate and involve our employees in environmental issues affecting our industry and our company
• Increase the selection of “environmentally friendly” products we offer (assuming reasonably substantiated claims) based on credible product life cycle criteria
• Meet or exceed the requirements of applicable environmental protection laws and regulations related to our operations and expect the same from our vendors and manufacturers
• Listen and respond to our customers in our individual markets regarding the environmental impact of our operations and available products
